Esta caja cuenta con documentación sobre las organizaciones de mujeres y los temas relacionados a la condición de la mujer, durante el período 1978-2006.
Contiene diversos tipos documentales, resaltando los más de 200 recortes de prensa, de diarios, semanarios y revistas, principalmente de alcance nacional y elaborados por mujeres. Las temáticas principales en estos recortes son en torno a la participación política y la transición a la democracia; políticas públicas; marchas, actividades y manifestaciones por derechos; y sobre la organización de las mujeres y el feminismo
Además, contiene boletines, publicaciones e informes de diversas organizaciones como Plenario de Mujeres del Uruguay (PLEMUU), Asociación Uruguaya de Planificación Familiar e Investigaciones sobre Reproducción Humana (AUPFIRH) y Grupo de Estudios de la Condición de la Mujer en Uruguay (GRECMU); volantes, folletería y declaraciones públicas de acciones realizadas por PLEMUU y otras organizaciones sobre política, educación, salud y discriminación basada en género.
